Our Process
Phase 1
Initial Consultation
We meet with you in your home to discuss your renovation goals, preferences, and budget. During this phase, we’ll also conduct an initial site inspection to assess the scope of the project. This will help us to identify any potential challenges or opportunities that may impact the design and execution of your renovation. We will take detailed measurements and gather all the relevant information needed to produce an initial cost estimate for your project.
Phase 2
Renovation Design Consultation and
Detailed Design
With an idea of cost in mind, you can proceed confidently with the renovation design consultation. Our interior designers will work with you to create an initial plan and layout for your renovation. Then, building upon the design concepts and ideas established during the initial consultation, our team of experienced designers will work closely with you to refine and finalize the detailed design plans. This includes more detailed cost estimates as you select your fixtures and fittings including tiles, plumbing fittings, electrical fittings, cabinetry, hardware and any other items included in your scope. If you already have a design, we are more than happy to discuss this with you to either scale back or skip this phase of the process.
Phase 3
Planning
During the planning phase we will obtain any necessary permits and approvals from local authorities. We also provide a detailed schedule that outlines the timeline of your renovation project, from start to completion. This schedule will be tailored to your specific project and will include all key milestones and deadlines. Our team will work closely with you to ensure that this schedule is realistic and achievable, so that you have a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the renovation process. Parts of this phase happen at the same time as detailed design to ensure the process is as streamlined as possible.
Phase 4
Pre-construction Preparation
We understand the importance of protecting your home during the construction process. That’s why we prioritize full site preparation before any work begins. Our team will take all necessary measures to protect your home, including floor and wall protection for all main walkways, dust seals to any other rooms, and furniture protection if required. We’ll also secure all necessary resources, equipment, and materials to ensure that your renovation project is executed efficiently and effectively. This includes the delivery of materials to your home and the placement of a skip bin in the appropriate location for easy removal of debris.
Phase 5
Construction
The construction and renovation stage is where your vision and design truly comes to life. This is to ensure the smaller details are finished to our standards, which makes up our overall high quality finish we strive to produce. A final inspection walk through will ensure that everything meets your expectations. We will then hand over the completed project to you, along with all relevant documentation and warranties. After handing over, you are free to enjoy your new stunning, functional space that you can enjoy for years to come.
